  • Serve as architectural lead with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating project assignments with all design team members, Owner, and Contractor.
  • Lead coordination on resolving construction-related clarifications or revisions with the design team leads and subconsultants.
  • Perform on-site inspections of projects under construction to ensure aesthetic value and quality construction.
  • Conduct ongoing quality control checks, punchlists, and project closeout during construction with accuracy and completeness.
  • Weekly internal project coordination meetings with internal staff and subconsultants of varying disciplines.
  • Weekly RFI, submittals, notice of variance review meetings with Contractor and Owner.
  • Weekly change order management meetings with Contractor and Owner.
  • Weekly project progress meetings and on-site walkthroughs as needed.
  • QA/QC and Non-compliance review meetings with Contractor, Subcontractors, and Owner.
  • Perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
  • Work involves planning and developing architectural projects concerned with unique or controversial problems which have an important effect on major company programs.What will you contribute?
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree in Architecture or graduate-level technical coursework preferred. This level may be achieved by Architects with ten years of experience since Bachelor's degree; or nine years of experience with Master's degree. Typical incumbent has fifteen or more years' experience.
    • Registration as a licensed architect is required.
    • Preferred candidate will have 8+ years of experience in all phases of aviation projects from schematic design through construction administration and close-out, as well as demonstrated experience with Construction Administration on large projects over $50M.
    • Candidate will have experience with Autodesk Revit software, Procore, BIM 360, and Newforma.
    • Strong technical writing and communication skills are expected at this level, proven through technical presentations, technical papers, and/or participation in technical committees. May be eligible for project management training. Knowledge of construction codes and agency compliance.

    • Ability to process paper/electronic documents and utilize computer equipment; ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to visit construction project site.
